A Supademo alternative when the deliverable is a video

Supademo is an interactive demo platform: guided click-through demos, sandboxes and an AI demo agent, with video and PDF as extra ways to share. DemoScreen only makes videos — a narrated, scored demo rendered from your screenshots.

What is different

Supademo describes itself as an interactive demo platform, and its plans are built around that: demos viewers click through, analytics on who viewed them, and tools for sales and customer-education teams. Video is one way to share a demo, not the centre of the product.

DemoScreen is the reverse. The video is the whole product: a camera that moves between the parts of your screens you marked, a script drafted from the text on them, a voice, a music bed levelled to streaming loudness, captions and a branded end card. There is nothing to click and no viewer analytics.

When Supademo is the better choice

  • You want interactive, click-through demos on your website or in sales follow-ups.
  • Your sales or customer-success team wants to track who watched a demo and build interactive sandboxes.
  • You want an AI agent that answers prospects' questions inside the demo.
  • You need many demos translated into languages DemoScreen does not narrate.

When DemoScreen is the better choice

  • You need a narrated video for YouTube, an App Store or Google Play preview, a social post, a launch page or an email.
  • You start from screenshots or design mockups, not a working product you can record.
  • You want the script drafted for you and the cuts timed to music, without editing a timeline.
  • You need vertical and square cuts of the same demo alongside the widescreen one.
  • You want to pay $9 a month or buy a $5 credit pack rather than a per-creator subscription.

One honest trade-off: DemoScreen renders on our servers and a one-minute video usually takes about 10 minutes, longer if other videos are ahead of it in the queue. You can close the tab — we email you when it is ready.

How to make the same demo in DemoScreen

  1. Take a screenshot of each step of the flow, in order. 6 to 10 screens suit a one-minute video, because every highlight you mark becomes a scene of its own.
  2. Upload them in the studio and mark up to four highlights per screen — each becomes its own close-up.
  3. Let the AI write the narration from your screens, then edit any line.
  4. Pick a voice, a music mood, a look and a format, and add your logo and website to the end card.
  5. Make the video. Download the MP4, the SRT captions and a GIF of the opening, or share a link.

See the edit loop on a sample project in the sandbox, no account needed. Plans and credit packs are on the pricing page.

Questions

Is DemoScreen an interactive demo tool?

No. DemoScreen makes narrated video files. If you want viewers to click through your product, Supademo and similar platforms are built for that.

How much does DemoScreen cost compared to Supademo?

DemoScreen Starter is $9 a month for 300 seconds of finished video, and credit packs start at $5. Supademo's first paid plan, Scale, is listed at $50 per creator a month, or $38 billed yearly, as of October 2026.

Can DemoScreen make an App Store preview video?

Yes. Choose the vertical 9:16 format and the camera stays inside close-ups so a phone screen reads well. Check the store's current length and size rules before you upload.

Where are DemoScreen videos made?

On our servers in the EU. Standard voices and library music are generated there too; premium voices and custom music use a vetted partner listed on our sub-processors page.
